alright i have a 93 with some mods on it and im needing the same thing done, and i talked to a few shops around here and they tell me that they cant work on the lt1's and switching lt1's computer with ls1's is the way to go, but if i send them my pcm they can tune it, but buy software is best?? and how hard is it to do it your self?

Second, you just revived a 2 year old thread (look at the last post date...). Try to start a new thread next time.
Third, in response to your question, your best bet is to send it to Solomon. You can see his website here:
LT1 PCM Tuning - Welcome!
Also, if you have things you need to know how to do on your Z, you can check out this site:

Good luck and kill Rustanks!!!

93 is different than all other 4th gen camaros in many ways. one is the computer/ecu. 93 has a memcal chip that is tuned and you get an adapter that lets you add the tuned chip in place of the original one. you can tune it at home yourself as well but for the first time i would recomend you have solomon do it. in the meantime you can do some research on the hows and whats of tuning a 93 obd1 ecu.
