Default optispark switch

ok on the 93 z im getting ready to buy the waterpump is already off and it has the dreaded non vented opti unit. i wanna put a 96+ vented opti in. i know im gonna have to change the timing cover, can the cover come off without messing with the oil pan?

as well as changing the front timing cover you would have to change or drill the cam for it to fit. you can modify the non vented opti to a vented one. may be a better option for you.

yah there is but i cant seem to find it. involves drilling and tapping the aluminum base. got a couple soccer games today and have to go. be back in about 4 hrs if no one responds. maybe 69 has the link handy.
