Oil Pressure where should it be?

Oil Pressure where should it be?
I'm wondering where it should be at on my '95 Z28. At idle and driving around. I think mine may be low. At idle it's just below half. Is this ok or should it be higher? If this is a problem any ideas on what it could be?
thanks

RE: Oil Pressure where should it be?
It be better if you gave us numbers, but just below 1/2 the gauge range is not bad at all, especially with a warm engine and the right oil.
By the FSM minimum oil pressure should be:
idle 5 PSI
1000 RPM 6PSI
2000RPM 18 PSI
4000 RPM 24 PSI
These are the minim acceptable readings. Typically a sound engine willshowdouble those readings.
