Oil Pressure Low and gauge bounces

i would say if u dont or cant do an overhaul then a high volume lt1 oil pump (which i think is a high pressure pump) is the what i would do. oh ya thats what i did do. lol. and it worked to. almost a year now and still goin good with 70 lbs of pressure cold and 25 or just above the firs mark when at operating temp. and idling. at highways speeds and at operating temp its at 60. it was similar to yours (a little higher) before i changed the oil pump. i unhooked the front motor mounts and lifted the front up as high as it would go to get the pan out. had to turn the crank a little to line up the connecting rod journals and counter weights so the pan would make it out. started out to change the opti and seen the pan gasket was hard as a rock and leaking so figured what the he-- and did the pan gasket, the oil pump, the plug wires and 02 sensors. had to take the exhaust lose at the donut, move the starter and the trany and oil cooler lines. i did the front cover seals and gasket and the intake gaskets then to. i was gona stop that oil leak... and i did to. lol.
