Ok so over the past couple of weekends I have been cleaning the underneath of my car trying to figure out where my oil and transmission leak are coming from, have not been successful. There is a definite leak at the port from the manifold cover hose to the throttle body. I replaced the hose, but the plastic piece that goes into the cover is still leaking. I will soon have pictures to follow of the location of the leak, otherwise if anyone has any idea how to stop the leak, Im grateful.

The Lt1 is infamous for leaking oil between the intake manifold and the top of the block. The oil dribbles down thee back of the engine making it look like as if the rear crank seal is leaking. You need to pull the manifold and reseal the joint with RTV.

 

Thanks a lot Pete for your help. I also have another leak to inquire about, I dont expect a definite answer but maybe a couple of ideas. I have a trasmission leak and fluid is all over the pan I cant see anything, I just clean it and about two weeks later the fluid is back. All this fluid is pretty much centralized by the oil and tranny pans. Thanks again!!!

Check the transmission oil cooler lines where they connect to the tranny, pull the converter cover & see if trans fluid is leaking arounf the torque conveter hub as it could bea bad seal.
