Default o2 sensors after header install

So I just put a set of pacesetter lts into my 97 z28, and I am a little confused about the o2 sensors. I have four o2 sensors and only two plugs, one on each collector. I also put in a pacesetter y-pipe. So what do I do with the other two sensors??

pick up some 02 sensor deletes. im assuming u took the cats off. one set is for before the cats and the other is for after so the computer can tell if the cats are workin right.

summit sells them pretty cheap. you can also have your computer programmer tune them out

So if I am going to have a tuner come delete codes anyways, because i am getting rid of the egr system, then I should just have him do the o2's as well? I dont really see any benefit from buying the simulators in my case

If you're going to have the PCM reprogrammed anyway, just have them pull the aft-cat O2 sensors as well. For future reference, the O2 sims are pretty pricey. If you put the O2 sensor into a spark plug non-fowler ($5) you can trick the computer into thinking you have cats. An even cheaper solution ($0.25) is a set of series resistors to take the voltage output of the sensor down, but you need some soldering skills for that one to work.

What does it consist of to have your EGR system done away with? Im gettin a bad code reading 32, which is EGR. Im having my 95 Z28 LT1 350 6 speed programmed. Thought about having him do away with the EGR if it doesnt consist of much.

hmmm

thread hijack

if you do a search you'll see a ton of threads on pacesetters and ORY. To answer your question, YES- just in how much easier it becomes to get to things on the engine

I think the pacesetters are def worth the money. Especially considering that they are cheaper than most other brands. So in my opinion, they give you great bang for the buck.

As far as removing the EGR stuff, you remove the actual egr valve and install a block off plate. Then remove the egr pipe that goes from the passenger side exhaust manifold and into the back of the intake manifold next to the egr valve. Then put block off plates on both of those. You can just buy the block off plates from ebay for like $10 like I did. After that, trace the little air vac lines that went into the egr valve and put a little rubber vacuum cap on it from autozone.
