Default No Spark No Codes PLZZ HELP!!

I have a 93 z28 with 120k miles, a while back the car would be driving fine and all of a sudden rev up really high then die...ive talked to a few people on what this could be and they all say the same things its the "opti" well ive changed the opti, new cap n rotor....changed spark plugs and wires, my main problem is im not getting any spark at all.... i hook up the scanner to it and i get zero codes ...it says there is no communication. If anyone knows anything bout what im going through or knows where i can get a factory repair manual please please let me know asap.

Thanks.

make sure your getting juice to the coil and check the fuses. check around the exhaust manifold and the power box (black box on driver fenderwell) for any wires that could have gotten damaged.

If it is the optispark it isnt that bad to change it. just takes some time. There are some good threads that will walk you through it.

guys i think he says he changed the opti but after reading again im not clear if he did. to the op, if all u changed on the opti was the cap and rotor then u didnt change the opti and i would suspect it. the main parts of the opti are in the base, readers stuff like that that i dont completely understand. lol.
