no heat?

no heat?
So I just did the waterpump, 170 thermostat, coolant level and temp switch replaced as well as the system flushed. My heater was working great. Now I don't get any heat. The heater lines under the hood are also cold while other hoses are warm. Any ideas?

What kinda anti freeze are you running? I just bought my 96 and had no heat. Turned out the previous owner had added some of that nasty orange anti freeze into the old green kind. Flushing the system brought out a clot of orange jello looking crud that was plugging the heater core. Might be worth checking.

I don't think so but I could be wrong. If you use bad antifreeze or don't use your heat for a long time you'll get buildup in your heater core that restricts and can even clog your entire heater core up so that even when you're blasting the heat the only thing that comes out is cold air. That happened to me, the previous owner used a bad mix and clogged the heater core entirely. Just flushed it out and gobs of **** came out, bled all the air out of the system and now I've got 100+ degrees of beautiful heat blasting out. If that doesn't do the trick maybe your heater core could be shot?
