Default New Camaro

Got it yesterday for $1750. Needs some work, but nothing major now. Spring I'll be working on suspension, and over the summer I'll be working on the engine.

I was actually looking for a 3rd gen, but this came up and I couldn't turn it down. The only thing I wish it had was t-top but I can deal without that. It has a K&N filter and flowmaster exhaust on it now, wheels will come next because these tires have around 5k left on them. After that I'm not sure.

is that a Z28???

Damn, the $1750 is worth it if just the body and interior are in great shape. How is the paint???

Its a Z28, with the LT1. The paint isn't perfect, but its nothing nearly big enough for me to care. Interior is pretty good, needs some minor things but nothing much. It needs engine mounts now (trying to find a how to online) but other then that she is in good running shape. Has a K&N filter and Flowmaster exhaust, but will be getting quite a few more parts this summer.

I agree with "craby", those engine mounts are very strong, but the tranny mount isn't as tough. I would check for marks from the driveshaft underneath just where the driveshaft connects to the tranny. Be careful getting under it. Be safe, dont just trust a floor jack. Nice ride ! By the way, engine mount are about 120.00 each and the tranny 60.00 if I remember right. How many miles on it ? Auto tranny ? T-tops are sweet ! Could be why you got a good price too, the previous owner may have thought something serious was wrong with it.
