I've never had a problem with anything shipped through rock auto. Everything shows up on time and in a good box.

So i picked up a radiator, gonna put it in this wekend. I hope it solves my overheating issues at idle. My fans are working, replaced therm. new water pump, no CEL, and i know the headgaskets are not bad. It only seems to do it while in town waiting at stoplights and when im not getting good air flow through the radiator.

So After it was all said and done I noticed that my fans were not kicking on. So I checked the relay by running a wire from my battery to the fan#3 relay. When i have the car off and jump the relay the fans will turn on but when i have it jumped and turn on my car the fans will turn off as soon as the car starts. Does this just mean my relay is bad or do i have a deeper darker issue?

+1

Relays are cheap. Just a couple bucks at any autoparts store. If you don't have a spare or can't find a known good one.
