Default Need help...

Hey guys well I have tried everything you have suggested and my z28 still has its sputtering problem...I have replaced almost every sensor you can think of and it still feels the same as when I started working on it...now I'm just wondering if it could be caused by the computer or anything else...I really need to get the car running right since its my only car I have to get around in..any suggestions will really be appreciated and thank in advance.

i'm sorry i dont recall what has already been suggested but did you replace the optispark? they are notorious for failing. its the worst part of the LT series engine. And if you did replace it or plan to, the GM replacement is the best. Trust me, working on my brothers firebird lt1 we tried all the optis and they failed quickly. the GM one is the best. dont cheap out with an ebay one and dont bother with the MSD

Nothing beats an OEM Opti. Not even the MSD at twice the price.

of course there will always be exceptions. I'm happy that it worked for you. I hated that opti system so bad I was going to do a 5.3 or 6.0 swap like a guy in my local club did just to ditch it. when my fiance got the car and it started to act up i said screw it and sold it. i hate the opti.

9 times out of 10 you will get the best results with the GM one.

I know that it takes time (especially if you have stock exh manifolds) but you were asked

to verify beyond a shadow of a doubt that your wiring order was correct

renove/reinstall each plug and verify no cracked insulators or partially connected wire

and if it wasn't any of that

to remove/reinstall correctly the opti because your timing is off
