Default Need to get her running right before a road trip in a couple months....

Well I want to drive her back home from Kansas, but she stalls out while sitting in traffic. I replaced the maf sensor thinking it was bad but still having the same problem. I'm beginning to thing its the fuel filter.... Any suggestions???

stop by the local parts store and have the computer scanned for trouble codes, let us know what codes come up if any. how old is the fuel filter?

Looking at his user name, I'm gonna guess it's a 96, perhaps even an SS, and oh I dunno......maybe it's red?
Do I get a prize?

Its a red 96 ss 180,920 miles, not sure if it has the Lt1 or Lt4. The I have taking it to the part store to get it read and they couldn't pull any codes... It runs great as I'm driving it a good distances, but in stop and go traffic it dies and I have to hold the gas pedal to the floor to get it to crank again...

The abs inop light is the only light that on.... But I hear that's a common problem with that model...

test your temp sensors, air and coolant. test fuel pressure. might try some injector cleaner in the fuel. check to see if one of the bulbs in the center brake light is out, that can cause a abs light.

I just noticed on my way to work that its throwing the low fluid light, it could be cause I need to replace the high pressure and return power steering lines. As for the coolant temp sensor I would rather replace any sensor that could fix this problem.
