What are you looking to do? If the car is going to be just for transportation then why mod? The car will work perfectly just the way it is.

Spartan, my car only has 53,000 miles...

jordan, my suggestion to you is to start with basic bolt-ons, so a cold air intake and a cat-back exhaust and work up from there. Choose your cat-back depending on what you think looks and sounds best.

Mine has almost 150,000 miles and still runs like a top. If it's going to be a daily driver then I wouldn't go beyond a cold air intake, headers and full exhaust because those can actually help fuel mileage and performance. If you don't care about gas mileage you could go farther and do things to the heads, cam, rear end, wheels/tires, etc. It's a small block powered Chevrolet so you can do just about whatever you want to it from mild to very wild provided you have the funds to do it.

I've had a job and had been saving since I turned 15 and got cosigned on a loan for $3000 of my car, my parents covered the other $3000, I had my loan paid off in under 6 months. Not to mention I did all my own car shopping. The car only had 37,000 when I bought it. It had been a garage baby for an older couple for all it's life until I got a hold of it .
