Default MSD IGNITION 93 Z28 INSTALL QUESTION

Hey guys,I have a modified 93 z28.When I bought the car it had msd 6a ignition on it.I recently noticed that it isn't hooked up.There is a wire ran to the power source, and a ground. The wires from the msd are wired into a plug in.So it looks like the wires should be simply plugged in somewhere to work, does anyone have any idea where they go? It is the msd 6a box. Also,I have another box that changes the timing for my nitrous,it is below the msd box,and it also has the wires running into a clip, does anyone know where either of these two plugs plug into? Thanks

Your best bet is to talk to the MSD tech support people & get an instruction sheet, or E mail them.

I think I've got it figured out. The plugs plug directly into an msd blaster coil, thats why there are plugs.I will just have to take the plug off and splice the two wires to the positive and negative side of the coil, and it should work.Someone mentioned to me that msd ignition can melt the optispark, has anyone heard of this?

I also have heard similiar stories, but I haven't seen it personallyl. Running the MSD box is really overkill, as all you really need is a MSD coil in place of the stock coil, and you will get more spark than you need.

on the MSD blaster coil, you only need one side of the coil hooked up if you have the wiring harness to hook up into the MSD6A
