Default More Room

Aight guys i would like to create some extra room in the engine bay becase i am tired of having to lower the engine onto the headers, cant remove the heads easily, reach the plugs easily, etc etc.. I have a plan to tie in my front shock towers with my roll cage and then tie all that into my frame with mild steel. I plan to then cut out and remove the inner fender wells and create room on either side making loads of room. Should i triangulate the support in the front? Has anyone tried anything like this before and how did it turn out for them? I know already that most of the support for the front suspension is already derived from the frame anyway so it shouldnt compromise the strength, I think it will make it stronger.
