Whats the max HP I can get out of my LT1 (keep it street legal) without a supercharger, nitrous or turbo?

 

Depends on how much money your willing to spend. As for max HP and not caring about life span, around 700 to 750.

 

You could take the motor out and build a great street legal 383 stroker motor. I am currently having one installed in my car. The machine shop that has done all the work said I would have over 500hp. They put all the best parts in it like the Eagle Crankshaft and Eagle Rods. I had the same dilemma as you I kept thinking about what to do it to make mine faster. The supercharger and NOS will both deter ate the motor. You could also buy the LT4 kit which if done right can produce up to 425hp.
