Exclamation Misfiring problem what is going on??

Ok so up until last week my car would run amazing and pull even harder..the other night i got on it and it misfired badd and i mean between 2500-3000 rpms and it flexed between that range for a couple of seconds then when i got back down to 45 mph, it would run fine..it only does it when i get on it real hard. ive replaced the plugs and ive bought new o2 sensors. the car does however have the factory plug wires and idk if this has any relevence but my fuel pump sounds like its whining sometimes and it goes off when im on the gas but returns when im idling..im at witts end and i love my car and idk what to do someone please help...

it threw many codes. Knock sensor, DTC 36 (Faulty high resolution pulse or resolution pulse detected), DTC 42 (IGNITION CONTROL CIRCUIT {SHORTED OR GROUNDED CIRCUIT }), And there were many others.

36 points to the opti. 42 points to the ignition coil modual or a bad connection from or to it. if you could list them all it may help narrow it down. or not. .

i would start with the wires first they can actully ground to other items instead of the plug, you can hold a screwdriver to ur coil and see if u get a spark from it, if not those look for cracked, broken, unplugged vacum lines, then if those fail then start lookin into gettin a new opti

ok so it was my coil pack. I guesss it went bad or something and it just wasnt generating enough for the car to run efficiently. I put a new one in and got on it a few times and WHAM nothing happend. Not a single misfire.
