RE: misfire

A misfire should not affect oil pressure unless it has been going on for a long time and dumped a lot of raw fuel into the oil and diluting it. An ongoing missfire, besides being annoying , is bad for the engine as the raw fuel washes the oil off the cylinder walls causing the rings and cylinder walls to wear out at a very fast rate. The worn out material is deposited into the oil pan and circulated about the engine causing even more damage. I suggest you find the reason for the misfire, usually an ignition or fuel injector problem, and take care of it.
