Default lt4 set up, will it work? (for vette?)

so i might be able to get my hands on a Lt4 set up thats new. It came from and lt4 crate motor, it would be heads )GM Performance 12363287 - GM Performance LT4 Aluminum Cylinder Heads - Overview - SummitRacing.com) cam, intake (RMS Product Details: 12550630 - LT4 Aluminum Intake Manifold, Engine Parts, 12550630) roller rockers and push rods. are all lt1s the same? like it will work? it may be a dumb question but i dnt wanna waste around a grand. And i think under a thousand is a good price for the set up, any arguments
?

Don't waste your time with the LT4 heads and intake because they aren't that much of an upgrade over the stock LT1. You'd have better much luck getting your stock heads and intake ported by LE along with the full LE2 package (LT1 LE2 «). A manual LE2 cammed car with full boltons is good for 400 at the wheels.

Short tube headers aren't worth your money in performance. The stock ignition system is fine (when it works), there aren't really any gains on a car w/o spray or isn't being revved that high. The stock 24lbs injectors are good up to 450~ at the wheels before they become a bottleneck, upgrading them now would be a waste. Also, there's no point in replacing the radiator if the stock one is functional. The best performance gains for the money are intake and exhaust. A cold air intake, long tube headers, and catback will get you the most where you stand now.

yea i know about llyod, but if i can get the lt4 kit for under a grand i still think thats a good deal, and i know alot of the parts are random,but theres a guy with them all wants to get rid of them all. Ive always been long tube guy, but the price is right /;

If you can get everything dirt cheap then go ahead but it might not be worth the labor and frustration. By the end of my header and exhaust install I was ready to throw my muffler through the windshield.

lt4 kit for a grand is a good deal and lt4 heads and intake do port better than lt1 for the future. give me a number if you decide not to get it.

i used em and am of the feeling it did help a tad. had the 52mm tb too, dont know that it was worth the bucks without the rest of the build. i was planning on the build though so figured what the heck.
