Default 29in slick

Ok I finally got rid of my z06 rims and bought some prostars and 29 in slicks......it looks close.
Has anyone else ran a 29 x 10x 15 slick on their Camaro?

Yea the front end it still jacked up in the air.....

you're definitely gonna need to cut the bump stops out before you run those, also, because those are bias ply tires you're going to need to account for some growth when you do a burnout, a bias ply tire will grow top to bottom so if you're close anywhere, time to grab the saw and start cutting.

I run a 28" radial tire and it still barely hits when doing a burnout

Well after smoothing out my rear calipers and not having to wait on more lugnuts till tomorrow, I have the sitting on the tires.
So do yall think it gonna be a problem with scrubing??

They do fill the wheel wells. If you're using traction bars, cal tracs, etc. the body will raise away from the tires, not sqwat on take off. Should not rub if they are inside the fender lips and the clearance is good on the inner fender well. They do look good. Looks like someone rubbed the letters off a little already. Good luck.

actually the tire sticks out past the fender alittle. Its a 5.5 backspacing rim. I'll take a pix

Like I said before, its not the body squatting thats going to be the problem, the real issue here is the tire growing when doing a burnout/running down the track. Anytime you run a bias ply tire, it will grow outwards the faster it spins/the hotter it gets.

Yeah, Im worried about the growth also. here is a pix from the top, it sticks out 1/2 of an inch.

I guess all I can do is punch it and hold it for a few and see what happens....lol

well I did put them on Craiglist to see if I could seel em or trade them.....
