lt4 hot cam
We understand that you're here to learn, but unfortunately most of us don't have the time to sit here and type up a tutorial on how all the different stats of a cam effect the power and torque over varying RPM's, and thus the reason I said you should go do some research. If you're not looking to break 350 HP (are you wanting 350 crank HP or 350 RWHP?) you can get by with a pretty mild cam. You can easily pull 350 crank HP from an LT4 Hotcam kit, but as it's already been stated in this thread, that's not too much of an improvement over stock. You can always call Comp Cams help line and they can assist you in designing a cam that fits your needs, but if you do pay them the courtesy of purchasing a cam from them. Remember, you are going to need a tune as well after you put your cam in. Check out www.pcmforless.com for that, or if you can afford it get the car professionally dyno tuned at a local shop.
