My 93 Camaro Z28 is running EXTREMELY rich. It has a 306 Comp roller cam, aluminum ported & polished heads, BBK 58 MM throttle body, MSD 6AL, and Hooker Super Comp Headers with 4 inch Mufflex exhaust. My mechanic recommended that I get it tuned but is there anything else that I can do to make it burn leaner? I'm not used to this kind of set up, I'm more used to an old school carb and intake set up.

 

test your engine temp sensor. the one on the water pump. if its failing and showing a very cold temp it will run very, very rich.

Hey, just want to say thanks!!! When I got off work this morning, I replaced the temperature Sensor and the thermostat from 160 degree to a 180 degree. The change was amazing. Thanks again!
