Default LT1 Motor stumbles only when driving in traffic!

I have a 1994 z28 camaro with a 97 mtr in it the car starts up good when cold. When I drive it the car stalls in city traffic but does good on the freeway. When I exit the freeway thats when the problems start it will die and the only way to restart it is to either bleed the fuel rail or let it sit for awhile. then its the same process all over when I drive it again. I am stumped.

do a fuel pressure test and have it scanned for trouble codes. check to make sure the 02 sensors are connected, check the maf wires and see how dirty it is.

Default Same Problems

Here is what's happening now! I've changed all the o rings on the fuel rail changed the fuel pressure regulator and IM still just getting 20-22psi.So the last resort is the fuel pump.IM wondering by me using the pcm from the 97z on this 94z is the problem. I do have a 95 pcm but when I used it the car would not shift I guess because it's from a manual car. I also have the fuel pump from the 97z but it got a hose that nothing is connected to.So my main question is can the pcm alter the psi?

no the fuel pressure regulator does that. i got two bad adjustable fpr's before i got one that worked right. i would look to the fuel pump after testing the fpr.
