Someone told me that the LT1 is a pain to tune is this true or not? jw thanks

 

yep, thats why i took mine to a friend thats a mechanic.

 

It depends on what you mean to "tune". If you are talking about changing spark plugs and wires, they are a pain because they are stuffed into a small place. If you mean to make changes to the computer programming to optimize performance, they are no worse than any other computer controlled engine. Actually pretty easy once you know what to do.

 

Just follow the plug wires to the distibuter then you can decide.

 

After you have done it about 50 times it gets VERY easy... Its just the 49 times prior that are the *****.
