Default Lt1??????

i dont have an LT1 i got the 3.4 but ive been reading a post in the v6 section about a guy with a 93 that wont start then another guy started talking about boring out his LT1 .60 over now correct me if im wrong but isnt the LT1 a corvette motor so cant you swap the intake for the one off a vette and bore .30 over and make yourself some more power without boring .60 over and risking the cylinder walls i just wanted to check with you guys b4 i told him something im not that sure about

yes its possible to bore an LT1 60 over...its a lot riskier but thats how they used to make the 396 out of an LT1. now we go 30 over and use a 3.875" crank to make the 396. i see no point in going for any more cubes than 396. you'd be spending more money and not seeing much for gains over a hot-headed 383/396

simply boring a motor 30 over and putting swapping any intake manifold will not yield much more power
