Default Likely Source of an oil leak....

I'm having an oil leak with my '95 Z28. I attempted to degrease the underside of the car near the oil pan, tranny, etc and still can't find the leak. Then I popped the hood and noticed that on top ofthe left valve cover there was a little dried up oil. I have no idea what it could be is there anyone that could help me? The car's running fine as of now but I want to get this taken care of. Could it be some sort of gasket or something? Please Help.

thanks

Check the rear of the engine where the itake manifold meets the block.
