Lifter making noise.

Default Lifter making noise.

I started hearing a noise from the driver side engine area.
I think my lifter is making the noise. whats the best way to
fix this problem??

first make sure its a lifter and not a exhaust leak. get a piece of cardboard and see if putting it between the exhaust manifold and yourself makes the noise gets quiter. make sure u dont cover the valve covers. what wt of oil are u using?

If it is lifter noise, the rocker arm may need adjustment, or a pushrod got bent, otherwise the lifter is bad and needs replacement. When is the last time the oil was changed, and what weight oil are you using?

Im using 5w30. What do u guys suggest
i use. and i did an oil change about 3 weeks
ago. i remember because that's when i installed
the K&N Oil Filter.
