Leak from Headers...

Im gonna use those when I take out the motor and swap it out but for now I finally fixed it.. put the new gasket from MR. Gasket and voila! made sure all the bolts were tight before start up and the baby purrs... so now im gonna let it cool off then try to re-tighten if applicable...

Would you recommend using the thread lock stuff or am I good?

i always us a thread lock of some kind but with exhaust u may want to use some thread sealant that will keep them from sezin up. i know it is recomended to use anti seeze on the plugs. aluminum and all. kool back on the road and singing loud. lol

Oh yeah.. Ill make a vid of the exhaust system and a drive by tomorrow when there is light outside... That intake silencer thing, what does that do? does it make my intake un-silent? lol

the donkey dong. i took mine off and it didnt make to much difference. i like the light open carb kinda sound.

what did you do to take it off or actually what i meant to say is what you use to plug it up?

i changed the elbow to an aluminum one. like it but wish i would have got the polished one.

yah thats what i did. i have a moroso cai and the two are almost the same. the elbow i got had the rubber type connectors to use on each end and i did have to cut the cai back a little because i dont have a maf. come to think of it what yr and model is your car.

Back to the exhaust, I put on the Percy's header gaskets and swear by them (as opposed to swearing at the cheap kind)!
They're a soft laminated aluminum, and conform better to irregular surfaces.
Auto Zone carries them.
