hmmm. well okay then, works for me.
so today i took out my back seats most the carpet out of the trunk and then sprayed some spray on bedline to make the trunk look nice(turned out great) and i'm in the process of building a new center top instead of the bullky leather one. the new one is going to be a black cage. i think it will turn out pretty sweet.

yeah i'm not too sure why i called it a center top. lol. but yeah i'm custom fabricatin' somethin to go there. and then i'm gonna custom fabricate a like weight piece of steal to go between the back 2 seatbelt deals and either get Z28 or LT1 cut into the center of the metal and get some red lights to shine through it. i already got a switch built in that i can use. should look pretty cool. if not i'll scrap it.

I'm a little confused, are you buiding this for the strip, street, or both. Because at the beginning of the tread, sounded like this was for the street. And now it seems it's going to the strip?

both. there is a drag strip about 45 minutes from my house. it opens the 17th. gotta be ready by then. might hop in the diesel the first few times i go down there. just cause the camaro ain't ready yet. but to me the street and the strip are the same. it's gotta look slick for the street. but i street race so it's gotta be fast. there are tons of ricers in my town with some pretty quick cars. as of now i kill them in my diesel. but i want my car to rape 'em too. it's just the thing is too heavy right now for how much power it doesn't have. my truck would rape my car no questions asked.

I dont know what everyone else has written didnt read it. But you should certainly consider the vss. The vss is the feedback to the cpu that tells the transmission where to shift. Vehicle speed sensor. The E stands for electronically controlled. That means that you can set the shift points with almost any tuning software. If it has not been programmed, and the vss is ok then you have have problems witht the valve body my friend. The manual transmission is a t-56 made originally by borgwarner its also refered to as a m6. I have an extra one that doesnt have the input shaft in it but it is a good transmission. trouble shoot that thing. If you hit the rev limiter with it its not too good for the engine because it is a fuel cut off, not ignition. If you have any questions hit me back. The transmission keep in mind is not the only expense you will have. You will need a clutch, flywheel, master and slave cylinder, new pedals and fabrication and you will have a gaping hole in your tunnel to deal with (where the shifter is at). I have everything you need for the swap except for the input shaft in the t56. Where do u live? Im in nc
