there's a couple ways to do it, you can get someone to create you a tune and then load it using a obd cable and laptop, or you can send your pcm in and they will load it for you. there's a bunch of places that will make tunes for you.

alright sounds good. now lets talk weight reduction. i'm takin my back seats out tomorrow and i'm gonna get a stock z28 wing free from the guy i bought the car from so i'll get rid of the heavy one that's on there. and then i plan on getting some light weight Sparco seats for up front.

Also, why the heck am i getting such terrible gas mileage? i mean not even driving crazy i've put about 250 or so miles on this thing since i got it monday and i've put about 80 bucks in the tank. i got was puttin half that in the tank with my diesel.

dude, if it's the stock flat spoiler, the one you got is less weight now, I know. Gas cost is from the rear gears and your tanny shifting the way it is.

yup...gears will kill your gas mileage...if you want to have a good gas mileage car...you better not mod the thing much

another weight loss idea while you have the seats out is lightweight carpet. i believe its 25lbs less then stock and is $130 only thing it doesnt have is the hatch area. also when you go to the track ditch the spare and jack its about 40lbs. there 6 heat shields under the car that total lik 5lbs. you can remove front fenders and cut the metal under there about 6lbs. a chromoly tubular kmember is a big weight drop. ac is a big loss and there's a ton more but then ur startin to make it not street safe. door bars, bumper supports air bags, little things like washer fluid holder, also abs, power steering. but i doubt you want all that gone. if weight concerns you then when you buy suspension parts buy chromoly more money but less weight.

Arrow you really thing the like 9 inch spoiler i have on there now weighs less than the flat stocker? idk maybe it does. and i'd just rather not spend 80 bucks a week on gas. but i'm gonna make it fast so what ever it takes.

and i've thought about lighter carpet but what about taking out the carpet and puttin down fiberglass. heavier? i know it'd look pretty sweet to do some custom stuff. but yeah idk. i am going to get a lightweight k-memeber, i looked at one the other day. i found a whole list of stuff yesterday to make my car weigh less and i'm gonna work on takin alot of the stuff out. but as far as replacing alot of things with lighter parts. i'm gonna wait on that. i'll go get some more power first.

yeah, you have the same spoiled I do and I remember taking the old one off and then picking up the high rise and was like damn this is light. I think it's about 3 or so lbs lighter. I know it doesn't make sense sence the high rise is bigger, but it's lighter.
