Put on an air dam.....overheating problem will be solved. It's there for function, not decoration.

 

Is this the air dam? If so mine has it but still hits 260 degrees and I've bled it many times

 

 

Yep, that's it. Then you have other issues causing it to overheat, at what speeds?

 

I let it sit and idle and it'll be about 210 and then go around the block and it goes up to the red. coolant gets low but there is no leak and i know something is wrong with my fans. so that might be a problem

 

do you have steam in the exhaust, check oil for water in it. oil will look like someone dumped milk in it if theres coolant in it. sure sounds like a head gasket. do a pressure test on the cooling system. some parts stores will let you rent a pressure tester.

 

well i would check my oil but my dipstick isnt there haha.

 

The coolant is not just evaporating. If the coolant gets low, you have a leak somewhere. It is either getting into the oil, out the exhaust or leaking onto the ground.

Since you're missing your dipstick, change your oil and see what color it is. If you are leaking coolant into the oil, then you definitely don't want to drive the car until you get it fixed.

Figure out where your coolant is going and go from there.

 

So whats the best step by step way to bleed the system? Ive done it numerous times, but i may not be doing it right.. hopefully but getting a air dam and putting it on and bleeding the system again the right way... this over heating problem will go away and i can move onto the next problem..

 

Yeah some water comes out the exhaust but not a lot and no smoke
