Ignition coil?
Just wanted to know if a performance ignition coil/module for my 94 LT1 is worth the money. I replaced the old coil/module with an original delco part like the old one.
Everything runs great now, but i'm always looking for easy horsepower if I can get it. Any suggestions?

no a high output coil will not increase hp on a stock motor. if u are totally stock there are add ons that will give u some good hp gains. cai, headers, high flow cat back exhaust.
i wouldnt worry about it. would have been nice to get a hp one when u replaced the old one but so goes life. ull be just fine. if u had a bigger cam, injectors and a high flow heads i would say u could benifit from a hp coil. that is my next move with mine when i can spare the bucks.
Ok, good to know. I was thinking of changing out the stock injectors but i wasn't sure if i'd have to change the pressure regulator nd the feul pump along with it. Do you have to replace either of those?
nope. i switched to 30s seemed to gain a little hp but lost a little mpg, elliotts will be doing my heads, intake and setting me up with a cam for the 4bolt lt1 i am building. he seemed to be ok with the 30s to go with everything but recommened that when i do switch motors to use a 58mm tb instead of the 52mm i have on it now.
why? you haven't done anything to the car to require new injectors unless you are having problems, or just want to change them for the heck of it????????
just want the extra hp if i can get it. i don't care about fuel consumption cause the car isn't my everyday driver. so i can get bigger fuel injectors and can keep the stock fuel rail and regulator, ect?
As the old saying goes
you are barking up the wrong tree about fuel injectors
Long tube headers and Y pipe is the path. You have a CAI, now exhale better.
fuel injectors are not going to do anything for you. The car doesn't have the demand for the increased fuel flow.
