hey whats upeveryone,I have a 1997 Z28I wanted to get some rims for my car but im not to sure what size to get? i want to fill out the whell well but i dont want 20'sand i want to get them wide enough to were they dont rub when i have people int the back. also i wanted to know what would be the best type of tires to get. i also want to add some more power to my car. right now i have bbk headers, trick flow inlet elbow, and flowmasters. so can anyone help me out
Well, if you want power make sure you don't hinder it with some big chrome rims. Some people have put vette rims that are 19 in the back and 315 wide tires.
For power, get your bolt-ons. You have some already, is your flowmaster a cat back? Add a cold airintake, LT4 knock module, upgrade your ignition stuff to keep efficient burn...? That's a few...

[sm=wtf.gif]is a lt4 knock module
The LT4 knock module is a replacement for the one you currently have in your LT1. The LT4, since it was equipt with a more aggressive cam and roller rockers, had more valve train noise, and GM had to put a knock module into it that was less prone to detecting excess valve train noise as engine knock. The LT4 knock module will eliminate most false knocks so the PCM won't retard the timing if you have headers or a louder valve train on your LT1.
All I did was unbolt the pcm bracket (2 bolts) to get to where the knock module goes. On top you'll see two smoll torx bolts you need to unscrew (use a T-15, I think), take out the LT1 km and install the LT4 km. Took like 5 min.
I felt the difference, but the pcm was also adjusting to the newely installed headers, so I don't know which was a bigger factor. But the improvement was throughout the rev range.
