had mine done at the dealership when i first got it, never again, they charged me 700 bucks, said they had to jack the motor up a couple inches to get it off. one good thing tho, if it ever goes bad again they have to replace it for free.

As SickSickSick advised, drop the Y pipe and you will have plenty of room. Liquid Wrench the nuts & studs holding the pipes to the exhaust manifold overnight, as they get rusted up and can break off causing ore problems. There are replacement starters made for the car that are smaller in size than the one the factory put in. These are easier to handle, but make sure you get the mounting bolts to go with them, as the stock bolts won't work.
