Hey guys just went and got my 96 z T56, and wow, I drove about 85% highway and 15% city, went 317 miles and used 11.83 gallons which comes to about 26.8 mpg?? HOLY crap... thats better than my 3.4 T5 ... how the .. is this possible i'm stunned. ?!?!?!?!

i got around 300 per tank with my 95 z it was a new jasper lt1 engine and i was amazed at the milage i would get when i drove it nice...

 

I only get 19-20.
But I hardly ever need to drive on the highway, and I have an auto.
Maybe this fuel system cleaner that I used will help?

with my 95 lt1 i get 220-240 miles with 15.5 gal tank. its about 14.8 mpg and thats beating on it bad

You are goingto get better gas mileage on the highway. No stop and go= better mileage due to the fact that you arnt supplying the engine with more fuel to get the wheels rollin. I hope everybody knows this and didnt post this cause they figured it was kinda a given.

 

i got 26 once when i was on mostly highway. in town i beat on it way too hard to get good milage. I think I went through a half tank in about 80-90 miles a couple weeks ago [8D].

and 95camz, FI aint cheap, andif you haveto pay to get blown ur no real man
