100 bucks for a complete column, including the wheel and bag is a good deal. Keep the extra parts when you're done just in case, or sell them.

 

Its pretty easy to swap out. There are four screws holding on the air bag from the back of the wheel. I think they might be torx bits, but I am not sure. Unscrew those four, they will not come out, but unscrew them until the bag will come out. Then unhook the yellow wire, for the air bag and pull out the red wire with a spring on the back of it. It is stuck in behind the wheel in the column. From there unscrew the large nut and you will need a puller, which you can borrow from auto zone. Then you just pop the new one on, screw it back down, and hook the wires back up. It sounds like a lot, but its really easy.
