High Revving LT1

Agreed. The hemi we used had 2 bolt mains and held up fine, and all we done was to change out the cast main caps with billet caps and align bored. To control the valve train we had a set of springs acting directly on the lifters, and another set in the stock position in the heads. This took a lot of strain off the push rods.

The only reason I ask about a high revving motor is because they produce a lot of power on the top end. I won't lie, I am a speed demon, and I want to be able to hit 180 MPH+ in my Z. I am just trying to get some ideas here. And it seems that it will be really expensive to build a high revving LT1 to be the daily driver. Question answered. Thanks. Craby, you can lock this.
