Default high idle, stalling on acceleration

My 93 z28 has a problem when it warms to running temp that it wants to idle at 2000, and when you go to accelerate, the car feels like it wants to stall out. Here is all the work thats been done with-in the last year, about a year ago had the opti changed with factory parts, 5 months ago had starter changed, 2 months ago had to have the starter rewired and booster pump and masterchanged, problem started after the starter was worked on, with in the last month have changed the TPS and cleaned the throtle body, but still no luck, took off the EGR (no fun at all) and cleaned it, ran good for about a day, then started to act up again, this time worse, you can barely give it gas, and it wants to stall, plus you can see the RPM gauge jump 500 RPM while driving at steady speed, RPM's at 21 to 2200 after closed loop in park or nuetral, went and had codes pulled and got a 36: high resolution, and a 26: EVAP purge. When the EGR was off you can hear stuff ratteling the cylinder, so i know that needs changed, but this EVAP, could this be bad too, i am still learning about LT1's, so any help would be great , thanks

Default RE: high idle, stalling on acceleration

High res is a problem with the Opti, and can make the engine run poorly.Hopefully you haven't gotthe Optiwet since the time you changed it. Evap purge will probably give gas smell, but shouldn't affect the performance, unless there is a very large vacuum leak in the EVAP system.. The EGR should be changed out as it could cause some of the problems you are experiencing.
