hesitation

Default hesitation

my car's been hesitating around 100-110 mph i was thinking maybe the tune i got but the plugs are new o2's are new last year i have new plug wires on the way should be here next week any thought would be helpful. thanks

its origanal i changed the cap and rotor last year thou

a cap and rotor can help in the short term but the optical reader is what will fail over the long run. thats in the opti. are you seeing any trouble codes?

get er scanned for codes, a tdc16 or tdc36 would indicate the opti.

Craby covered it. Those codes are deathbed confessions, otherwise its going to be something else. Hesitation at 110 can be alot of things. And usually a bad opti would cause all sorts of trouble all over, not just at a certain MPH.

yup


as for me, I would have no way of knowing if my car "hesitates" at 110 mph on the street. I'm not going to try it.

Yeah, I wouldn't either in the states but I’m stationed in Germany for now and the auto Bann is awesome and if you’re not doing a 100 you’re too slow. So I get to play around with the speed sometimes.
