Default HELP PLZZ!!! THANKS

hey guys yes its more probs for me. I have a 1996 z28ss and i had the exhaust all put on and could only hook up 3 of the 4 o2 sensors on because there was no where to attach the bank 1 sensor2, which was geetin the SES light on. so i bought the o2 simulators and put them on and now after about 3 minutes of idiling it just stalls out. is the computer just not readin them or is it anotehr problem.

oh ya and i forgot to add that it will start right back up no problem and do the same thing

might want to make sure its all hooked up right, or get someone to fab you a bung for the other O2

I hope you put the simulators after the cat, otherwise the car won't run too well. But as Shaker mentioned, make sure everything is wired OK, and add the bung for the downstream sensor. It appears the car dies when it goes into closed loop, which indicates a sensor trouble of some kind. You need to have a scan tool hooked up and see what codes are set when it dies. Temporarily pull the connector on the MAF sensor to keep the engine in open loop & see if it stops stalling. If it runs OK with MAF disconnected, it proves that your problem is caused by a bad or poorly connected sensor, and you need to find out which one.
