Default help identifying block #

i have a short block that seller id'd as a new factory lt1 4blt shortblock. i was playing with it this morn and noticed it has the id number stamped on it in ink rather than imbeded in the steel. number is 7A1551641, i have seached the net and found nothing. im asuming this is a factory thing so the vin can be imbeded after install, anyone know? anyone know what the numbers mean?

found the casting number 10125327 just shows as a 92-97 350 2 OR 4 bolt main LT1/LT4, also says Corvette blocks normally a 4-bolt main. so i am asuming the vin number is in ink because its a factory crate short block and it would also let the dealer stamp the cars vin on it. so once the pan is on how do i prove its a 4 bolt. lol.
