Default Help!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey guys I just bought a 96 6-speedz28. It's a fun car with a convertible. There's only one problem, the engine light turns on when I go on the freeway. The light stays on the whole day. The next day the engine light turns off. I don't know what to do. When the light turns on i don't want to floor it because i'm worried something might go bad. The engine sounds fine, i don't know if it's the sensor that's messed up. Any suggestions.

Go get it scanned for free at an autozone. That's step one.

Hey i just took my car to autozone and they scanned it but no codes showed up they told me that i might need a tune up because when the engine light turns on it starts to blink and then stays on it might be that but i need another opinion.

Duh. Blinking check engine light indicates a misfire. A tune up would be a good idea sounds like. If you do it yourself, it would be cheap.
