With what you have you're into the expensive stage. My first recomendation would get upgrading to a 58mm TB, you're probably outflowing the stock one if you're pushing 400 HP. The LT4 heads aren't worth the money, they're really expensive for the numbers they make, you're best off saving up for a good port/polish job on your LT1 heads or going for a good aftermarket head such as AFR. Check out http://www.totalengineairflow.com/ they get some pretty good numbers out of ported LT1 heads.

As far as your intake goes, you really can't upgrade much over the stock LT1 intake, and it's not going to get you anything unless you're running different heads. You could get the LT4 intake, but the only difference is the intake runners are raised 0.10" over the LT1 to accomodate the LT4 heads. The stock intake flows pretty well, especially if you have it ported for a 58mm TB and have the intake runners port matched to your heads. Other than that it's just an open piece of aluminum, it's pretty hard to outflow a hollow tube.

You could run a little more lift on your cam as long as you know you're not going to have any piston/valve interferance. If you aren't already you could get some 1.6:1 roller rockers to try and get a little more lift out of it. You could probably get a bigger cam, but that's going to take down drivability.

To get above 550 HP (I'm assuming we're talking crank HP here since an LT1 isn't going to make over 400 RWHP with the stock heads...) you're probably going to have to think about stroking it out to a 383 or going for a FI build.

if youre going to blow that motor dont go that big with the duration. you will want smaller duration (well, not smaller than u have now, but def not 240) and higher lift, otherwise you dont pressurize the chamber and you just blow the air back out the exhaust side.
