heater hose replacement HELP!

i have a 94 z28 and i am replacing the heater hose (runs from the water pump to the fire wall) i am trying to figure out how to remove it without cutting it in pieces, and then i have to put a new one in. so if anybody could help me that would be great.thanks

never changed one dont want to. :) book says,, drain coolant. unhook clamps at both ends and twist and turn it to get out. looks to me like u may have to remove alt to make it easier. tight fit huh.

already taken the alternator out and i may have to take out the bracket too...the a/c seems to be in the way. i was also wondering if i will have to drop the motor just to replace that hose.

no i think once u get all the mounting brackets and clamps undone it should come out. which hose went? both? which end?

the hose that was busted was the one that connects directly to the water pump, and where the hole was it was spraying onto by belt which made it slip and quite literally ripped my belt right down the middle, so i basically had 2 belts lol. but i think we got it under control now and hopefully by tomorrow morning ill be able to drive it again. I can't wait because until it gets fixed i have to drive my friends ford taurus lol and its terrible.
