Probably the air doors on the HVAC stuck open. Check the temp control cable.

I had a 94v6 before i got my 97 z and both of them blew air at the drivers feet. i did notice however that the temp. of the air depends on where my HVAC **** is set to b/c mine can also blow really cold air. i dont have any air comin from my e-brake though.

The temp control **** is attached to a cable that controls the air mixing door. But first, find out exactly where the hot air is coming from.

Thread Resurrection.
I have this problem.
I have Heat blowing into the feet area of under the dash
Even if the HVAC is off.

I understand that the cable could be the cause of this, but if so, how can i fix this issue.
My compressor just started leaking the other day, and now since i can't hold freon for more than 2 days, I ride WD55, But my feet get hot from this airflow.
Any ideas?
Thank You for your time

i think they let a little air through to keep a positive air flow. both my 93s did it my truck does it. just turn the temp down and it should go to the outside air temp. although if its hot outside its going to be warm.
