what else do I have to do to my motor if I want to just put heads and a cam on? dont want to spend more than 2000-2500 if I dont have to right now.

Make sure you have free fowing exhaust and intake, otherwise the heads and cam are going to be choked up and you won't see the expected gains.

 

sweet will do! but will the cam and head put me to 400 with the headers and intake?

 

alot depends on what is done to the heads and what kind of cam but yes u can get 400. probly lookin at 3 to 4k before your done. the nice thing is u can do it in stages. like do the motor and headers, then the cat back. can also hold off on some of the motor additions till u can afford. like tb and injectors.

 

when you say do the motor what do you mean?

 

and I have full exhaust minus the headers. no cat anymore.

 

whatever u want to do on the motor. if u have the heads off the headers will be much easier to get in. and ull want to do the intake at the same time so think about what u want to do before so u dont have to take the motor apart more than once. water pump, opti, plug wires, front cover seals, etc.

 

gotcha... makes lot of sense. but if I get a good cam, heads, headers, and intake do I have to do anything else to be in the hight 300 low 400 hp? do I have to get bigger injecors?

 

lloyd will recommend 37# injectors, but 30# svo's will work just fine on an LE1 package
