Default Headers are awesome

Well I went to the shop for the weekend and installed some headers on my 94 Z28. BEST IDEA EVER! Ended up not being as hard as I thought it would be, it was just really time consuming. Great way to spend a weekend with my dad. Naturally, first thing once they were in was take the car outside of town and put the throttle to the floor. Isn't it always fun. I thought the thing moved before. I couldn't believe the difference I felt in low rpm ranges with the acceleration. The BBK's even make it easier for replacing my o2 sensors and the passenger side spark plugs.

Anyways I just thought I would make this post to thank everyone who gave me information about them and helped me to make the decision to buy them.

Ya, anything over those logs it came with from the factory will be quite an improvement. Any pics?

Lol, my bad. I was told they were Edelbrock but no, they lied. I wish they were though.

They are the BBK Shorties I think the part number on them from BBK is 1567. I was going to take some pic's of them right when I put them in, but then I realized how bad my engine bay looks right now because I didn't clean it up to well after I had my a coolant leak on my serpentine belt that threw it everywhere. But I'll take some pics tomorrow and get them posted

That's why it was easier than you expected. If they were longtubes, chances are you'd have had quite a bit more trouble.

I want pics!

Sounds interesting, I'm putting edelbrock mid tubes on my 94 Z28 I found out i have the performance package which in turn has better gearing oil cooler higher performance throttle body injector rails and injectors as well as bigger and stronger suspension with bilstein shocks all factory installed. I can't wait to install my headers and plugs. The work on the 94 with BBK headers sounds great good luck with her.
