You are looking at a cat back system. The cats are before the system. The dual cat cars use different plumbing than the single cat cars. If your car has a single cat and you want to use dual cats you will need different exhaust manifolds or headers, and different Y pipes.

Default RE: header question

The cats in dual cat applications are installedbetween the exhaust manifolds andthe Y pipe, each bank having its own cat. In single cat applications, the cat is installed between the Y pipe and the exhaust system. Therefore, all things being equal, the dual cat will flow better than the single cat. 10HP better according to Chevy.
However, if you are going to redo the exhaust and looking for the most power, get a set of headers and Y pipe, high flow cat, and a catback system. Stock exhaust manifolds are pretty pricey and do nothing for power by themselves.
