I was just wondering if long tube headers would fit on a 91' Camaro with out draging or will I have to go shortys or midlenght headers. Also if you have any suggestions about what kind or brand I should get lmk I was looking at Hookers but any imput is appriciated.

i have a set of hooker super comp shorty headers on my 89 RS. Ive got about 6 inches or so of clearance. From what i have heard, of you go longtube, you can expect about 3 or 4 inches of clearance. These numbers are at stock height mind you.

 

it isn't the headers that you have to worry about clearance for .. it's looping the exhaust under the frame. the long tubes will actually be between the frame and the tranny. if have long tubes on my 3rd gen with 3" duals dumping in front of the rear tire and the only time i have ever rubbed is loading it on a trailor.
