I finally got the exhaust manifolds off. can't find a 18mm socket to remove the motor mounts though. hopefully I can have this finished tomorrow.

got my long tubes in finally. puttin them in was easy. removing the exhaust manifold was the headache.

fyi when removing the exhaust manifold the rear bolt on the passenger side, use a wrench i wanna say a 13mm. its alot easier than spending 2 days trying to get a socket in there.

I think the stock manifold bolts are 9/16".

What headers can you get that you don't have to send it off to get ses light tuned out? Also will the headers fit on the stock exhaust?

I don't have a driveway that I can leave my car in for 2 days or more, so I figure I'm gonna have to pay someone for the install.

Does anybody know someone who'll do great headers/cats work in socal?

Did you guys re use the stock bolts? or buy locking ones exct..?

bolts come with headers. If yours are used and didn't come with them, buy a set.

mine are not locking and have never backed off

the gasket is the important piece

Go with Felpro gaskets and ARP bolts (the ones with the 5/16 heads). Remember to retorque them after taking the car for a drive.
